If you are not going to swim any one or all of the events that you have entered you MUST please let us know by either email, telephone or in person at the meet.

Meet programmes are now available in PDF format for you to view on screen using the links in the right menu. They can not be printed, edited or copied. Each programme should open in a new window, simply close the window to return to this page.

Please note that in order to make comparisons easier for both competitors and spectators, the times published in the programme have been converted from the 25m times submitted to the equivalent times for a 50m pool.

Thank you for entering our Fifth Long Course Licensed Open Meet. This year's entry has once again been fantastic with unfortunately many more entries than we can accept! Many hundreds of entries that we received after the meet was already fully subscribed have already been returned. Also there were a few entries outside the Consideration Times for this meet. These are listed in the Rejected Swimmers below. Sorry for any disappointment. If you were one of the unlucky ones too late with your entry and hence not accepted, we can only apologise for any disappointment. However we warmly invite you to our other 2006 Open Meet competitions held at Queens Leisure Centre, Derby, particularly our Twenty Third Short Course Licensed Meet in April 2006 (check back here for details mid January).

Swimmers Information sheet and Coach's Passes will all be on their way back to you in the next few days. However to help you prepare for our competition and organise your weekend you should be able to download lists of accepted swimmers for your Club (and the few rejected swims that were outside the Consideration Times), using the links below.

Soon there will be more information including the Meet Programme, available through this page so check back often.

Important entry information

Cardless Meet

As last year, we are going to run the event without Entry Cards. This means that we will assume that all swimmers that have been accepted for this meet are going to attend and swim all the events that they entered. If you are not going to swim any one or all of the events that you have entered you MUST please let us know by either email, telephone or in person at the meet.

Entries, by Club, are now available using the links above and the meet programme will be published soon on this web site, so that you will be able to check your entries. Also we will be returning by post, meet information and a list of swims for each swimmer in the envelopes that you provided. Then if you are not going to swim any or all events that you have entered please either:

  1. Telephone Christine Brocklehurst 01332 605101 (before the meet) or
Andrew Marvin 07976 240261 from Friday evening 6th January and over the course of the weekend of the meet, or
  2. In Person at the meet office (Omega Suite at Ponds Forge).

Tell us your Name, Club and the Events that you want to withdraw from with your Competitor Number for each event (which can be found in the accepted entry lists for your Club above).

You must tell us that you are withdrawing from an event before the start of the warm up for the session in which the event is due to be swum. After this time it will be assumed that you are swimming the event and a lane will be allocated to you. (Withdrawls after this time may result in an empty lane).

Heat start lists will be printed for each session and will be available with competitors stewards and meet officials.

24 Nov 2005

As usual the number of entries for this meet has been very high. Entries have now fully closed. The recent "flood" of entries received will unfortunately mean that some will have to be returned. Entries will be accepted based on the first come first served criteria - as advertised.

Watch this space for more details ...
