Swim A Thon is just 24 hours away and we’ve had a large intake of interested participants over the last week. To ensure we spread ourselves over the whole 12 hours and allow lane space for varied abilities, I have split the day into 4 time slots.

SESSION 1 – 8:00am-12:00pm (restricted session)
Team Nemos and Cool Crocs done as 4x 1-hour slots
12km workout challenge – older swimmers only
OPEN SWIM FOR PARENTS OF SWIMMERS PARTICIPATING AT THIS TIME
*The only general open swim available at this time is 1 lane from 8:00-10:00am and 11:00am-12:00pm
SESSION 2 – 12:00-3:00pm
Open for up to 3 hours of swimming (it is okay to do less than 3 hours). Do as many lengths as you can in this time.
There are also two workout options for anyone wishing to do a structured session:

SESSION 3 – 3:00-6:00pm

NOTES FOR THE DAY
- Come prepared with snacks and a water bottle – we will need to refuel during our swims
- Lap counter – if your swimmer needs help keeping track of their lengths come prepared with a pencil or pen to fill out a recording sheet available for use on the day
- Master recording sheet – before leaving Repton ALL participants must list their total distance on the master recording sheet at reception
- I’ll be there to coach 8:00am-6:00pm for any swimmer or parent needing times or help with their session
Parents and coaches are still invited and encouraged to swim, just let me know when you plan to come
