Just one day to go before the City of Derby Challenge Cup!
Here’s what you need to know: Arrive Repton at 5pm for registration in the new sports hall Swimmers are all being put on separate teams. They will find out their team tomorrow night.
Swimmers from all squads will be on each team. Swimmers from national/elite will act as captains for their teams There are many events being offered. Once organized into their teams the swimmers will choose their events. Team captains will lead the charge on this to ensure event selections are fair.
Racing begins 6pm and will end by 8pm (at Repton). Point scores are awarded for every event. The team with the most points at the end will win a prize! The prize has been donated by Teenage Cancer Trust!
If we raise more than £200 on the day, coach Jamie will swim a 200 Fly 🏊♂️ Registration is still open until the end of day today!!

An email invite has been sent out via Team Unify. You can RSVP via Team Unify or through the OnDeck app.

Inspired by Ethan we have organized a charity event called the City of Derby Challenge Cup!
The event is geared for all CoD squads and an invite has been sent to all clubs in the county. We’re raising funds for Teenage Cancer trust and QE Hospital Charity. Here is how it works:
All squads are invited
Coaches are organizing some fun events to take place. We’ll split the swimmers into teams and go head to head in a series of fun races/competitions.
Location is Repton
Cost is by donation to charity (Teenage Cancer Trust and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charity)
What to wear: training suit, shorts, trainers, t-shirt, a smile

Wondering what it is all about? If you have ever been to the colour gala this is the same idea, same amount of fun! We are splitting swimmers into teams on the day and going head to head! Swimmers will select their events on the day once we’ve split them into teams.
We’ll meet in the Repton sports hall at 5pm for registration, then head to the pool at 6pm.
Cost: by donation
5:00-6:00pm registration in the new sports hall
6:00-8:00pm fun in the pool
